Why Us?

Location, location, location

Our Farmhouse is set amidst the green hills which surround Pokhara Valley, itself lying at the foot of the majestic Annapurna Mountain Range. The views from the Farmhouse are wonderful. The views from the surrounding hills (even from a 15 minute gentle walk up) are spectacular!

Tranquil and eco friendly

Set 15 minutes drive from the nearest hardtop road and urban area, the Farmhouse is a peaceful country oasis. We follow an eco friendly policy to maintain the sustainability of the surrounding land, and ask you do the same.

Freedom and flexibility

With a whole two storey Farmhouse at your disposal you have more space than in a hotel room. And there is more freedom and flexibility than in a tourist homestay package – you can enjoy the local culture and people, visit their homes, become hands-on on the farm then go home and shut the door! It is the best of both worlds; a homestay with your own privacy and the flexibility to eat what and when you like, participate or not as you like, and it’s your luxury hotel suite to hide away in if you so desire!

Neighbours

The Farmhouse is set in the small village of Chisapani, Furse Khola, four minutes walk away from our family home of Furse Khola Organic Farm. Thus, your neighbours are the local community, our farm animals and ourselves!

Activities

There is plenty for visitors to do, including short walks; longer hikes; exploring caves and waterfalls; seeing Hindu and Buddhist temples and monasteries; learning about Gurung culture; learning how to milk a cow and plant rice, and much, much more!

Giving back

The reason we established the Farmhouse is to give back something to the community. 40% of money earned from your stay goes towards a pension fund for the farm employees, a village development fund, and to the most disadvantaged children and young people in Nepal by providing them accessibility to primary health care, education, and social opportunities.
