The Farmhouse
If you have ever wanted to know more about how Nepalis live off the beaten tourist trails, yet hesitated because you didn’t want to be intrusive, here is the perfect way to interact in a do-no-harm way, retaining your own privacy and that of the “host” village as well.
View of Furse Khola and Chisapani Village
Designed in traditional Himalayan style, adapted to be eco friendly and fitted with modern facilities and comfortable furniture, whether you’re a regular traveller to Nepal, an expat or someone coming for the first time, Furse Khola Farmhouse offers you a unique experience.

It is also your opportunity to try your hand at farming – whether milking a cow or planting rice or merely chatting with the workers – Furse Khola Organic Farm is just next door, waiting for you to come on over and have a “hands-on” experience!

The master bedroom offers romance at its most powerful!

A large balcony provides you with a private seating area overlooking the gardens and from your king sized bed you can view the surrounding hills and snow mountains.

Adjoining the master bedroom is a smaller bedroom with twin beds which can be linked into a double size. This room is ideal for younger children or if you come as a couple, it can be used as your personal dressing room!

Downstairs our cosy sitting room is an ideal place from where to check your emails, make any calls, play indoor games which we will provide, or catch up with world news on our 150 channel satellite TV, discreetly placed for those who wish total seclusion!

Downstairs is a twin room with bunk beds, ideal for teenagers or older children.

The kitchen is fitted with modern conveniences such as a mini-bar fridge, electric kettle and toaster, gas stove and modern sink. Traditional brass Nepali plates are provided for your use, as well as more “modern” ones!

An outside seating area provides the ideal spot to sit on the cooler winter days, or in the evening. A barbeque and campfire place are provided for your use. The bathroom is fitted with tiles, a modern flush toilet and shower. Hot water is provided through our solar water heater on the roof.

We have two play areas for children. One suitable for ball and racket games and one close to the Farmhouse for younger children with a sandpit and swing.
